How to add networks to Metamask

Connect Binance Smart Chain with Metamask

After you proceed to login, the default network of Metamask wallets will be Ethereum. To connect with Binance Smart Chain, please follow the steps below!
Step 1: Select the account item in the right corner of the screen and then click "Settings".
Step 2: Select “Network” → “Add a Network”.
Step 3: Fill in the correct information in the box to connect to the BSC network.
  • Network Name: Binance Smart Chain
  • New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
  • ChainID: 56
  • Symbol: BNB
  • Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com
Completing the above step, the interface will appear as shown below, you have successfully connected Metamask with Binance Smart Chain.

Connect to other networks

First, go to the account section and select “Settings” => “Network” => “Add Network” as I have done above with the BSC network.
Then, fill in the complete information about Polygon (Matic) in the box as shown in the image below.
  • Network Name: Polygon Network
  • New RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.matic.network
  • ChainID: 137
  • Symbol: MATIC
  • Block Explorer URL: https://polygonscan.com/
The interface displayed as shown below means that you have successfully connected the wallet with Polygon (Matic)
Step 1: Access Chainlist at https://chainlist.org/
The interface will then display the Chainlist homepage with a list of many networks including mainnet and testnet.
Step 2: Click on Search and search for “Binance Smart Chain”.
Click to search for BSC, there will be 2 options "Binance Smart Chain Mainnet" and "Binance Smart Chain Testnet".
Select Mainnet with chain ID of 56 => Click “Connect a Wallet”.
The MetaMask window pops up asking to confirm the connection. Click select Next.
Once connected to the wallet, to add a network, click Add to Metamask.
You click approve then the interface displayed as shown below is that you have made the BSC connection successfully!
